Reminds me of my student tenure in London (Digby Stuart College); followed by my teaching days at Southfield Middle School in Chiswick, in the Borough of Ealing. .... the Q Club, Ronnie Scotts, The Albany for the Friday night pan lime, Playing with Ebony Steelband at Notting Hill Carnival and serving as the band's first PRO in the early 70s and introducing "Pan on Wheels" as well as the "canopy" over the pan racks; the train rides from London to Italy, to Spain and Portugal et al.
