  • Didn't I give you that already? if I did not, we can always leisure, 12 men were selected but, only 10 actually did, the late "Granville Sealy" from Tripoli was the first one selected but did not make the trip, then Carlton (sonny/sire) Roach from Sun Valley, who fell ill in "Martinique", Ellie Mannette from Invaders, before he ran us outta they pan Yard 3 years earlier in 1955, Roy Harper was select from North Stars but he sent Anthony Williams, Orman (patsy) Haynes from Casablanca, Winston (spree) Simon from Tokyo, Dudley Smith from Southern Symphony, Theodore (Theo) Stephens from Southern All Stars, Andrew (pan) De Labasted from Hill 60, and Philmore (boots) Davidson, and Sterling Bethancourt from Cross Fire, and of course the Arranger and Conductor Lt. Joseph Nathanial Griffith from Barbados, who is the first man to write/compose a tune for pan named "Return of the Allies", if U need any thing like photos, I have them all...

  • J J J I want to publicly thank u for the invaluable information u provided. However I am looking forward to reading your publication. Nobody trally knows what took place with TASPO Let's collaborate with Tony Williams and get the story, Who roomed together ,where they stayed,when and where they played etc. We know that TASPO happened, but we don't have any details.
